Connect Stroke Gains to ChatGPT
Give ChatGPT read-only access to your Stroke Gains record so it can answer questions about your rounds, shots, and performance metrics.
Before you begin
Complete this setup at chatgpt.com in a desktop browser. Custom MCP plugins are not available in the ChatGPT mobile app. They also require ChatGPT developer mode, and availability may depend on your plan or workspace settings. You will need an active Stroke Gains account.
Set up the connection

Enable developer mode
Open ChatGPT settings, select Security and login, then turn on Developer mode.

Open the New Plugin form
Open the ChatGPT Plugins page, then select the plus button in the upper-right corner.

Configure the plugin
Enter Stroke Gains for the name. Under Connection, select Server URL and paste the address below. Set Authentication to OAuth. The icon, description, and Advanced OAuth settings can be left unchanged.

Create the plugin
Review the custom MCP server warning, select I understand and want to continue, then select Create.

Sign in to Stroke Gains
Complete the sign-in and authorization screen. ChatGPT will only be able to read the Stroke Gains record belonging to the account you authorize.

Start a new chat
Add Stroke Gains from the chat's tools menu or mention @Stroke Gains in your prompt. Once it is selected, ChatGPT can use it when relevant throughout that chat. Try asking, “@Stroke Gains, what are some interesting facts or patterns about my golf game that aren’t apparent from the high-level data?”
